Description:

We are looking for a Research Associate, Scientists or Sr. Scientist with solid hands-on experience in cellular biology and protein chromatograph. He/she will play key role in establishing high producing cell line to manufacture therapeutic monoclonal antibody (mAb) and other recombinant proteins in support of pre-clinical and clinical studies. Additional responsibilities include recombinant mAb/protein production and process development. The successful candidate is expected to be energetic self-starter, adept at multi-tasking, with critical problem-solving abilities.
 

Responsibilities:

Develop high producing mammalian cell lines, for production of monoclonal antibodies and other types of recombinant proteins, carrying out transient and stable transfection, clonal cell line generation Chromatography purification of recombination proteins, and some bioanalytic activities of the recombinant antibodies/proteins Carry out other responsibilities related to the cell line development, including protein production, cell banking, and cell line characterization etc Participating the optimization of protein expression platform and process development Write technical reports, summarize and present data internally within a multidisciplinary team environment; Other responsibilities as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor, MS or Ph. D in biological science, bioengineering, chemical engineering or relevant discipline, with 2+ years’ experience at suspension cell culture, cell line development and/or process development in academia or biopharmaceutical industry Excellent aseptic skills, patient and cautious with cell culture, previous experience with antibody expression in suspension CHO cells desirable Extensive hands-on experience at protein chromatograph, and AKTA FPLC Experience with FACS, ELISA, and SPR, is a plus Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of organizing and present data internally, maintaining clear, accurate and complete documentation of experimental data and procedure Essential to be well organized, and to follow well the established guidelines & SOPs Abilities to work independently and to work collaboratively.
